MetroPCS Releases the Motorola Quantico and the Samsung Stunt
In the US, MetroPCS has just released the Motorola Quantico (above) and the Samsung Stunt (below). The Quantico is a flip phones that sports: a 2.2-inch display, a 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth support, and a microSD card slot. This one is now available for $199, which is quite a bit for this mid-end handset.
The Samsung Stunt is also available and it features a 1.7-inch display and Bluetooth support. This one is available for just $79, which is a bit more reasonable - I guess.

Even though Verizon is offering their Buy One Get One free deal on their Motorola DROID and the Droid Eris that doesn't mean it's the best deal around right now. On Amazon you can now get the DROID (here) for $149.99 USD on a 2-year contract and you can get the Droid Eris (here) for just $9.99 on a new contract. This means that you can get a DROID and a Droid Eris for just under $160, which is pretty sweet. Good stuff.

Android HTC Incredible (Possibly the Bravo) Headed To Verizon In 2010
We don't know any details on the HTC Incredible but it will reportedly be headed to Verizon in the US. This is from a trusted source, but he didn't spill any other details - it's running Android. A couple of people out there are assuming that this handset will be the HTC Bravo from the leaked roadmap a couple of weeks ago. If it's the Bravo then 2010 will be a great year for Verizon.

Rogers actually started offering a pretty sweet deal starting yesterday. A couple of their "Webphones" are now way under the $100 price mark. The LG Eve, BlackBerry Bold 9000 (the white one), the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1, the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220, the HTC Magic, and the Nokia N86 are all available for just $0.99 on a 3-year contract. The contract-free prices are still the same though, so they're still expensive if you like to buy your phones that way. Pretty sweet deal - especially compared to Bell's...

Taking something from Rogers' playbook, Bell has cut a few of their "amazing" phones to under $100. Unlike Rogers though, Bell's line-up sucks. You can get the Palm Pre from them for just $99.95 (which is now free on Wireless Wave, by the way), the Android-based Samsung Galaxy for $99.95, and the old school BlackBerry Curve 8330 for $49.95. You can also get a couple of dumbphones for a little bit cheaper, but that's up to you.

Finally! The Palm Pre, in Canada on Bell, is now available for free on a 3-year contract, thanks to Wireless Wave. This handset was Palm's first WebOS device and it's a pretty damn good smartphone. I don't know why it's not getting much of a buzz, but I don't really expect it too. Of course, with this $0 price, you'll be stuck on a 3-year contract. Check it out here.
