A new Pantech handset has just hit the FCC and gotten checked out at the Bluetooth SIG. Dubbed the P8000, this handset has 3G support on 820/1900MHz bands which is perfect for AT&T in the US and the three major carriers in Canada. This will be an Android handset but it doesn't look like it'll be a high-end one so it'll be a budget one. Specs, price, and release date are still unknown right now, but if you're a power user then you might want to just move along. Check it out at the Bluetooth SIG and FCC.

It looks like Motorola's "Honeycomb" Android tablet has just been pictured again. This tablet from the carrier is reportedly packing a 1,280 x 800 multitouch display, a dual-core Nvidia Tegra T20 1GHz chip, 32GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM, a microSD card slot, a microUSB jack, a miniHDMI port, a rear / front-facing camera, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Yes, we've heard these specs before. This 10-inch tablet should be getting official in early 2011 and will be hitting Verizon (has the logo in the top right corner!).

What you see above is a picture of the HTC Evo Shift 4G (or the Knight or the Speedy). This time we finally get a look at the slide-out QWERTY keyboard of it and it definitely looks like a modification of the Touch Pro 2 which is great news! It looks very easy to type on and even throws in a trackpad in the bottom right corner so that you'll be able to edit whatever you type in case you made a mistake. Rumoured specs are said to be an 8MP camera with 720p HD video recording, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, a 3.7-inch LCD WVGA display, Android 2.2 "Froyo", and WiMAX connectivity since it's hitting Sprint.

After quite a long wait, Rogers has finally decided that it was finally time to release the white BlackBerry Bold 9780. They aren't the first carrier in Canada to launch the white model of this smartphone so you might've already seen it before. Specs stay the exact same so you still get OS 6.0 with the WebKit browser. It's available now for $149.99 on a 3-year contract, $399.99 on a 2-year contract, $449.99 on a 1-year / monthly contract, and $499.99 contract-free. Check it out on Rogers.

Gigabyte Announces the GSmart Rola, Android 2.2 With Dual-SIM Capabilities
Gigabyte has just announced their latest Android phone and it's being dubbed the GSmart Rola. Surprisingly enough, this handset will be running Android 2.2 "Froyo" (I expected something more outdated, but that's pretty good news) and will also house dual SIM cards if you live a double life. Specs include a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen display, a 528MHz CPU, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM, a 3MP fixed-focus camera, a microSD card slot, WiFi / GPS / Bluetooth support, an FM radio, and quad-band GSM (3G) connectivity. This will be hitting Europe sometime in Q1 2011 for €175 ($232 USD).

Symbian^3 Powered Nokia E7 Hitting 3 UK In January 2011
3 UK has just announced that they'll be releasing the Nokia E7 in January 2011. Unfortunately, the price hasn't been mentioned yet so we'll have to wait for those details to trickle out. The E7 is definitely one of the best phones that Nokia has ever made with a 4-inch Clear Black AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, an 8MP camera with 720p HD video recording, and the Symbian^3 OS. Other specs include a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, a 680MHz CPU, aGPS, and an HDMI output. It'll be one of the best phones to hit the market, and could be Nokia's saviour device before Symbian^4 comes into play.
