Verizon-Bound HTC Merge / Lexikon Delayed Because It'll Be Getting An LTE Radio
There's a new rumour going around regarding the HTC Merge aka Lexikon. This smartphone was just spotted in Verizon's internal systems and it should be available tomorrow but it has apparently been delayed. The reason for the delay is that this smartphone will be getting an upgrade to have LTE (4G) connectivity. With all of the Android smartphones that Verizon has at this point this one shouldn't bug you too much. If the Merge is not available tomorrow then you know why.

MTS In Canada Releases the Motorola Milestone
That's right! A year late, MTS in Canada has released the Motorola Milestone (A854). I wouldn't be surprised if these models are the last shipments or something like that because I doubt that they actually produce these in factories anymore. Anyways, the Milestone is available for $179.99 on a 3-year contract, $279.99 on a 2-year contract, and $504.99 on a 1-year contract. Check it out on MTS.

The Sony Vaio Y launched in January of this year sporting a 13.3-inch display but just like the small MacBook Air model, this new model will be sporting a smaller 11.6-incher instead. The display resolution will be 1,366 x 768 which is pretty good and the rest of the specs is where it tries to set itself apart. Inside you'll find an Intel Core i3-380U 1.33GHz ULV CPU, up to 8GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, Bluetooth 2.1 / WiFi b/g/n support, an HDMI output, and a battery life of 6-hours. Samsung's back at it again. This time they've shown off a 10.1-inch Plastic LCD display, which actually could find its way into a larger 10-inch Galaxy Tab in early 2011. The display is 1.88mm thick and has a 1,024 x 600 resolution, 250 nits of brightness, and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. That seems good enough for a tablet - unless the next iPad sports a Retina display. Being plastic, it'll be tough to break, apparently it's unbreakable.
