Well, it looks like there's some bad news for customers looking to get the Archos 5 Android-based tablet. According to Amazon (here), the "item [is] under review." We don't know what this means right now, but there seems to be some kind of problem. In the meantime you can still order the 32GB model here and pre-order the 500GB model here.

It looks like the Archos 5 has just been spotted on Amazon. Right now there are three models available: one with 32GB of internal storage, one with 160GB, and the other has 500GB. The 32GB model is available here for $370 USD, the 160GB model is available here for $390 USD, and the 500GB model is available here for $500 USD. Check them out now.

The Nokia handset that was unveiled last week is now available for pre-orders in the US. The Nokia N900 is now available for pre-orders on Nokia USA's official website here for $649 USD. This Maemo-based device is probably Nokia's best device to-date.

Mozilla is planning to launch Firefox Mobile / Fennec on the N900 when it ships and Tech Radar got their first look at how it works. Firefox Mobile will have Awesome Bar which you can see above. Nokia's first Maemo 5 device is the Nokia N900 and it looks like it could be a sought after device if the price is right.Well, in Italy, UK, Germany, and France the N900 is now available for pre-orders for £500 ($813 USD). Check it out on Nokia's official website.

At Nokia World, Nokia showed off the Nokia N810 tablet with 3D capabilities. Thankfully, you'll be able to see the 3D effect without glasses. Nokia will launch this 3D technology on a mobile phone in the future, but it won't be the N810 - they're just showing off the technology. Apparently, Nokia "has been working on 3D phones for 'several years.'"

It's a brief walkthrough of the upcoming Maemo-based handset / tablet, the Nokia N900. Right now, it looks like this handset is really nice. Nokia has just shown off a new promo video of their tablet, the N900. This device is looking pretty solid thus far, special thanks to Nokia's Linux-based OS, Maemo 5. I don't really have anything else to say here, so enjoy the video below. It's a good look at the UI of the new OS.

This means that the Nokia N900 Maemo OS tablet will have AT&T / Rogers 3G capabilities - in the future, that is. As of right now, it's confirmed to be capable of running on T-Mobile, but the AT&T / Rogers-capable Nokia N900 announcement will be coming, maybe at Nokia World or something. Just wait for it.

The Maemo 5 OS tablet from Nokia, the N900, is already official and it's actually available for pre-orders now in Germany and Italy. On both of their sites, you'll find the pre-orders going for a whopping €599 ($860 USD), which is definitely not on the cheap end of things. These are one of the first - if not the first - real live pictures of the Nokia N900 that we've seen to date. The Maemo OS is looking quite attractive and the full screen browser is looking even better.

So much for waiting until Nokia World. Nokia has just announced the Nokia N900. This is Nokia's first device running Maemo 5 and, yes, it has both internet and phone capabilities. I'm calling it a smartphone. This is definitely Nokia's best smartphone to-date - beating out the N97. This handset is confirmed to have: a 3.5-inch WVGA resistive touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 resolution, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE / WCDMA 900/1700/2100 bands, an ARM Cortex A8 CPU, 32GB of internal memory, a microSDHC card slot, a 5MP AF camera with a dual-LED flash, a Carl Zeiss lens and a cover, an FM transmitter, and WiFi / GPS support.

The Nokia N900 will be hitting "select markets" in October for €500 ($713 USD). Remember it's compatible for T-Mobile USA, so it could get a launch on there in a couple of months. Look out for more information from Nokia next week and, in the meantime, you can enjoy the two videos below.

Remember the Archos 5 MID / Internet tablet that is reportedly running Android? Well, the event Archos is holding on September 15th is probably going to be the official announcement of the device. Fortunately for us, the FCC has leaked out documents on the latest Archos 5 MID - labelled A5S and A5H. This is probably what we'll see on the 15th - just a heads-up.

The Nokia N900 / RX51 / Rover internet tablet has just posed for some press shots. This smartphone / MID device has been seen many times and is probably going to be officially unveiled by Nokia next week at Nokia World. We'll probably see their sexy netbook there too.

Above is another photo of the Nokia N900 / Rover tablet. This tablet just passed the FCC, so today we're just focusing on the new and sexy photo. Clearly, the photo above hints at it rocking the Maemo 5 OS and the rumours are declaring that it will get released on T-Mobile USA with HSPA connectivity.

What you see above is the Nokia RX-51 / N900 Rover prototype that likely passed the FCC just yesterday. This internet tablet has: a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 resolution, HSPA / WiFi / 3G support, a 5MP camera, and 32GB of internal storage. Like I said yesterday, this internet tablet will probably hit T-Mobile and judging from the ear piece on the device, this baby will also be able to make calls. This Maemo-powered device is rumoured to be hitting the shelves by the end of this year. Check out both links below for more photos.

Update: According to Phone Arena, we have some more information on the Nokia N900 Rover / RX-51. The touchscreen is said to be resistive, which sucks; the camera has: autofocus, a Carl Zeiss lens, a sliding lens cover, and a dual-LED flash. The CPU inside of this device is an ARM Cortex A8 with speeds of 600MHz - 1GHz; and yes, this device is running on the Maemo OS. Even with this additional news, the price and release date has not been mentioned yet.

No, sorry, it's not the Apple tablet. This is actually Nokia's latest device to pass the FCC. But, the device is pretty large so it's probably not a mobile phone. It could be the Maemo-powered Nokia Rover Internet tablet though. We don't know yet, but it has AWS 3G, which is a perfect fit for T-Mobile USA. Just wait a little bit, I'm sure information will start to leak out soon.

iriver could have a busy year next year. According to some leaked future plans, they plan to create an Android-based iPod Touch rival, the iriver K2. The K2 supposedly has: a 3.5-inch touchscreen, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a digital TV tuner. It's being touted as an iPod Touch rival, but in the picture above it looks like it's dialing a number, so it could be an Android-based smartphone.

iriver's future plans also unveil a possible e-book reader and an internet tablet. As of right now, any details about it is scarce. All of these devices are scheduled for a 2010 release, but the price hasn't been outlined yet. Excited?

According to Mobile Crunch, this screenshot could be what Nokia's future tablet OS, Maemo Harmattan, will look like. The screenshot clearly shows off a bunch of widgets. This new OS is expected to hit Nokia's tablets in 2010 and widgets seem to be the future.
