Acer has updated their netbook and it's the Aspire One 722. Yup, it's a slight upgrade over the AO721 and it features an 11-inch display along with AMD's 1GHz C-50 chipset. It also packs Radeon HD 6250 graphics, a 1,366 x 768 resolution, dual speakers, and a battery life of up to 7 hours. It's not the best thing that they've released but it'll be pretty cheap. However, the price is unknown right now and it should be available shortly.

Toshiba Files For "Thrive" Trademark, Probably For Their "Honeycomb" Tablet
Toshiba's still unnamed "Honeycomb" tablet may have a name after all. The company has just filed for the name "Thrive" and Engadget has mentioned that this includes domain names for ToshibaThrive.com, ThriveTablet.com, ThriveToshiba.com, and event TabletThrive.com. Right now they're not live but we're assuming that it should be soon. So, you looking to pick up a 10-inch Toshiba Thrive Android tablet? Hopefully it's cheap. Check out the USPTO if you're bored.

We've known about the Lenovo ThinkPad X220 and X220t notebooks for a couple of weeks now and it looks like they're now shipping. They're available right now for $849 and $1,249, respectively, which makes the recently-refreshed Alienware notebooks look cheap by comparison. Inside the 12.5-inch displays you'll find an Intel Core i3-2310M CPU.
The integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics are there to stay as well as the 1,366 x 768 resolution displays. That's some sad news but at least the displays are IPS and you can opt for some longer battery life if you need it. Check out the ThinkPad X220 here and the X220t here.

Dell has just unveiled new Alienware M11x, M14x, and M18x notebooks and they're exactly what we thought they'd be. In a San Francisco event this morning, they all got official and they're all gaming powerhouses. These will be more than enough to run Portal 2 so there's no need to worry. They all pack Intel's "Sandy Bridge" CPUs, Nvidia GPUs with Optimus tech, and the two larger models have Wireless HD.
The M11x and M14x are available right now for $999 and $1,199, respectively, while the larger model will be available in May for a more expensive price. You'll also be getting 8 hours and 6 hours, respectively, if you're not gaming. Furthermore, the M18x notebook comes with a factory overclocked 4GHz CPU which is absolutely insane.
