As expected, Samsung has made their Galaxy S II officially official and it's quite the smartphone. Of course, if you've been following the pre-MWC news then you already know what's up. The Galaxy S II features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED+ WVGA display, a dual-core Samsung (likely Exynos) 1GHz CPU, an 8MP rear-facing camera with 1080p Full HD video recording, a front-facing 2MP camera, NFC capabilities, and Android 2.3 with a new Touchwiz 4.0 UI. Yes, this will be the thinnest smartphone to ever hit the market at just 8.49mm thin.

At Nokia's event earlier today they informed us that they would have a "significant volume" of Windows Phone 7 handsets in 2012, but what do they have in store for this year? Well, the company mentioned that the head honcho of the company would be "much happier" if they actually shipped a device this year. Yes, we could be seeing a Nokia Windows Phone 7 handset this year if Nokia works hard enough. I hope they start off with a bang. A nice 12MP packing WP7 handset would be nice.

Motorola XOOM Pre-Orders Kick Off At Best Buy On Thursday For $1,199...
If you're interested in pre-ordering the awesome Android "Honeycomb" powered Motorola XOOM then you might want to know that you'll be able to start doing so on Thursday of this week. Sadly, you better have a bit of money ready because the retailer's website says that the 32GB model will be available for a whopping $1,199 - definitely not cheap at all. It makes the leaked $799 price look cheap. Hopefully this is some sort of mistake because this is just ridiculous. Check it out on Best Buy if you don't believe me.

First Supposed Motorola DROID X 2 Photos Leak, Looks Exactly Like the Original
Coming from Twitter user, @britishturbo, who runs TheMobiZone is what you see above and below. These are reportedly the first leaked photos of the Verizon-bound Motorola DROID X 2 which is codenamed "Daytona". This smartphone obviously looks a whole lot like the original DROID X but it does have some improved specs. This includes a better 4.3-inch qHD display, a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 CPU, and a gyroscope for gaming purposes. It should also feature an 8MP camera which is the same as the current model but hopefully they chose a better sensor so that it can record 1080p Full HD video this time around. Motorola is making an appearance at MWC so maybe this one will be getting official soon.
