If you're looking to get one of the best smartphones on the market then you might want to take a look at the LG Optimus 2X. This smartphone runs Android 2.2 and packs the powerful dual-core Tegra 2 1GHz chipset. Other specs include an 8MP camera with Full HD 1080p video recording, a 4-inch display, an HDMI port, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, 3G connectivity, a microSDHC card slot, and 8GB of internal storage. This handset will be upgraded to Android 2.3 sometime in the future but it's unknown exactly when that will be. Verizon Getting a CDMA iPad In the Future Too
Verizon and Apple may have announced the iPhone 4 on the network but it looks like they have something else in the works. Verizon's CFO, Francis Shammo, announced that a CDMA iPad with 3G connectivity is also in the works. If this is really true, you can expect it to be the second-generation iPad which should be announced in a few weeks. At least, that's what I think. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

WIND Mobile Going To Release the BlackBerry Bold 9780 For $450

It looks like WIND Mobile is almost ready to launch the BlackBerry Bold 9780 smartphone from RIM. Sadly, the release date is unknown right now but they've just mentioned that it'll be available for $450 contract-free. This smartphone comes with OS 6.0 along with the Webkit browser which is pretty amazing. Check it out on WIND Mobile if you want to.

Verizon iPhone 4 Gets Announced, Same Specs But With CDMA; Available February 10th
Yes, as expected, Verizon announced that they'll be launching a CDMA iPhone! This will be available for $199 (for the 16GB model) and $299 (for the 32GB model) starting on February 10th - pre-orders start on February 3rd for existing customers. With a purchase of the iPhone 4 on Verizon you'll also be getting a 5-device mobile hotspot. The antenna and the buttons are in a slightly different place than the one's you'll find on AT&T's model. Every other spec on Verizon's iPhone 4 are the exact same. Check it out on Verizon.
