Okay, so a bunch of people have been waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Apollo in Canada but the wait could be over soon. In the next couple of weeks, Telus will be launching the Android-based smartphone and it will be available just in time for the "Back to School" season. The Apollo packs a 3.2-inch AMOLED display, a 5MP camera that will record 720p HD video, Swype, WiFi support, and Android with the Touchwiz UI (likely version 2.1). Seeing how the carrier already has the HTC Desire it should cost less than that judging on the spec sheet.

Telus has just released the Android-based smartphone for $29.99 on a 3-year contract, $149.99 on a 2-year contract, $199.99 on a 1-year contract, and $249.99 contract-free. In case you forgot, the Charm packs a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, a 3MP AF camera, WiFi support, a microSD card slot, and the MOTOBLUR skin so there's social integration.
