France's Bouygues Telecom To Offer the Google Nexus One Soon

France looks like they could be getting their shot at purchasing the Google Nexus One soon. On Bouygues Telecom's website, it's listed (check that out here) but the release date wasn't mentioned. This handset is already available in a couple of different places, but it's definitely good news for Google to keep pushing out the phone as best as they can. The phone may be good, but the sales are slow because of Google only selling it through their own online store.
Bouygues Telecom may actually be selling the handset itself so you'll be able to choose from a bunch of different plan options.

It looks like the LG Eve (GW620) will be launching in France, Android and all. The unlocked price is expected to be €450 ($654 USD) and it's expected to launch on-contract for €69 ($100 USD). This handset should be available any day now on Bouygues Telecom, Orange, and SFR (at a later date), since they've pegged it for an early October release date. In the meantime, you can check out the video below.

According to the latest unconfirmed news, the HTC Click will be launching France as early as this month on Bouygues Telecom. The thing is that the Android-based Click will be launching in France as "The Tattoo" and there's expected to be a design on the back of the handset - possibly similar to this. In case you forgot, the HTC Click has: a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, a 3MP camera, GPS support, and possible HSDPA and TV support, which is something we haven't heard before.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 has been available since yesterday for $129 USD on a 2-year contract and Wal-Mart is selling it for $48.88 on a 2-year contract - last time I checked. But, if you want a real deal, you should probably head over to Amazon. They are selling the BlackBerry Curve 8520 for $0.01 on a 2-year contract. Yeah, no typos there. Here's the link. It could be out-of-stock, by the way.
So, the latest word on the street is that the Curve 8520 will be hitting France, courtesy of Bouygues Telecom. It will be available "within the next month" but the price and exact date hasn't been mentioned yet.
Since we're talking about the BlackBerry Curve, I guess we should talk about the top selling smartphones of 2009 in Q2 of this year. The BlackBerry Curve sold enough to clinch the top spot, beating the likes of the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 3G. The full list is below.

Yes, that's right! The Samsung I7500 has reportedly gotten its name changed to the Samsung Galaxy - at least for those in France. Bouygues Telecom has just announced that they are expected to release Samsung's first Android device in early July. Just to recap, the Galaxy has: a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a 480 x 320 resolution, WiFi, GPS, a 5MP camera, 8GB of storage, a microSD slot, and has quad-band GSM / tri-band HSDPA. Those in America are still expecting the I7500 or Galaxy to be released on T-Mobile this Fall. As of right now, I don't know if the American version will get the same name change.
