HTC Tattoo Shipping With Android 1.6 "Donut" and FM Radio Early Next Month
According to UK's full spec sheet of the HTC Tattoo it'll be shipping with Android 1.6 aka "Donut." This handset actually already has its own listing on Vodafone UK's website, so check it out. It'll be rocking the Sense UI, Android 1.6, and it'll also have an FM radio. That's pretty sweet news for a low-priced Android handset. It's set to touch down early next month (October).

According to the latest unconfirmed news, the HTC Click will be launching France as early as this month on Bouygues Telecom. The thing is that the Android-based Click will be launching in France as "The Tattoo" and there's expected to be a design on the back of the handset - possibly similar to this. In case you forgot, the HTC Click has: a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, a 3MP camera, GPS support, and possible HSDPA and TV support, which is something we haven't heard before.

HTC Click Official, Hands-On Video With Mutant
Below is the first hands-on footage of the HTC Click that we have ever seen. Clearly, it has the old HTC-looking style to it. In the video, there's a 3.5mm headphone jack, GSM connectivity, and, of course, the Donut build of Android. I don't mean to be mean, but you may notice that the guy in the video has six fingers. Check out the video below.

HTC Hero and HTC Click to Launch on China Unicom Under Dopod Brand
It looks like China will be releasing a couple of Android phones under the Dopod brand name. All of these handsets aren't going to have WiFi on it because you know how the Chinese government is - see: strict. The HTC Hero will be launching in late August on China Unicom for 5,600 Yuan ($820 USD) and the lower-end HTC Click will be available for 3,400 Yuan ($500 USD). On the HTC Hero, Google Maps will not be pre-installed, but you're still welcome to install it when you get it. To make the offer even better, they're going to be offering the red model as well. They will also be launching another Android handset and the HTC Magic, but the price and release date for both of these devices are unknown at the time.

HTC Click Rumoured To Cost Around $280 - $330 Unsubsidized
Here's a new photo of the HTC Click, which is supposed to be one of the first low-end Android handsets to-date. Gizmodo "estimates" that the touchscreen display will measure around 2.8-inches. The latest rumour is that this phone could cost around $280 USD to $330 USD unsubsidized, so this could be the first Android handset to launch in the US for free on a 2-year contract. Other details are, of course, still unknown.

HTC Click Possibly Running Android, Looks to be a Low-End Offering
The HTC Click is one of the 4 upcoming HTC smartphones I talked about two days ago. It's pictured above and could actually be a low-end Android handset. There's nothing known about this handset, but it does have an awkward array of buttons on the front. Not to mention, there's a giant circle on it, which could be an optical trackpad of some sort. Anyways, look out for it in the next couple of days / weeks, we'll have more information on this handset soon.

Following up on the HTC Dawn from this morning, it looks like HTC could be preparing more smartphones for the future. The HTC Leo, Click, Mega, and Rome smartphones are probably all just codenames because they would sound pretty dumb as actual smartphone names. Anyways, the HTC Leo looks like it could be a smartphone with two displays, a WVGA (480 x 800 resolution) internal and a QVGA external. The Leo is expected to support OpenGL 2.0 and could have a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU - similar to the Toshiba TG01. Unwired View points out that this smartphone could be similar to the HTC Omni (mock-up picture above) which was scheduled to be released a few years ago.
The HTC Click is another smartphone that could be actually be classified as an "entry-level" Android-based handset. Unfortunately, there are absolutely no details on the HTC Mega or the HTC Rome. Hopefully, we'll know more details about all four of these handsets / smartphones in the near future.
