HTC Mecha S Could Be Verizon's Thunderbolt Mini
It looks like HTC could have a new, smaller smartphone up their sleeve and it could be headed to Verizon in the US. PocketNow has managed to get the user agent profile of a phone from HTC with an HVGA display (320 x 480) along with CDMA connectivity - possibly LTE as well. It's unknown what this handset will actually launch as but it's internally known as the Mecha S and could be the Thunderbolt Mini.

I feel like 8.9-inches is just about as perfect as it gets for a tablet size but that just might be me. If you're like me though, you might want to wait until the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 because it has just hit the FCC and it should be available in just a few weeks. This one's packing a Tegra 2 CPU so if you can't wait for Tegra 3 tablets then this will probably be your best bet. Check it out at the FCC.

Sprint's Samsung SPH-D600 Leaks, Mid-End 4G Phone
Phandroid has just picked up more exclusive photos of the upcoming Samsung SPH-D600 which is on its way to Sprint in the US. Specs for this one is said to be a 320 x 480 resolution display, a 1GHz CPU, a 3.2MP camera, and Android 2.3. It appears to be a mid-end 4G (WiMAX) phone which is actually kind of awkward. The resolution of the display is just years behind. Maybe it'll be $99.99 on a 2-year contract though.
