The S8500 "Wave" isn't the only handset Samsung will be revealing at MWC. We're now hearing that the Monte Slider E2550 (above) and the Monte Bar C3200 (below) handsets will show up as well. These aren't high-end phones, but they're still worth the look. This handset won't be sporting the Bada OS so you're stuck with just the original TouchWiz UI on both of these handsets. All of the other information will be announced at MWC.

HTC Photon To Be Announced as the HD2 Mini at MWC
We've heard about the HTC Photon because it was a part of the HTC portfolio leak from late last year. It looks like this handset will be appearing at MWC and it'll be announced as the HTC HD2. This could very well be true since it's sporting a similar look if you take a look at the picture, but the display is much smaller [than the HD2] at just 3.2-inches - too bad it'll only be sporting a Qualcomm MSM7227 600MHz CPU though. Let's just wait and see what happens cause MWC officially kicks off tomorrow. I wonder if it'll get launched in April 2010, like it says.

It looks like that Samsung S8500 "Wave" has just been pictured in the wild and it actually looks pretty sexy since they're some high quality pictures. This handset will feature a 3.3-inch touchscreen display (like the Super AMOLED one), a 5MP AF camera with a flash and 720p video recording capabilities, 2GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, HSDPA connectivity, WiFi b/g/n, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, a 3.5mm headphone jack, tempered glass, a 1,500 mAh battery, and the Bada OS with TouchWiz 3.0. Along with all of that news the body is made of aluminum and is just 10.9mm thin. It's definitely looking like it's a good start to Bada, but let's see how the software is.

Microsoft "Turtle" Handset Passes the FCC, Pretty Much Confirms The Ugly Design
Well, it looks like those old picture of the Microsoft Turtle could actually be true - they weren't kidding around about launching it for the "younger" generation. The Turtle has just passed the FCC (filing here) and it's been identified as the Sharp PB10ZU. It's said to be packing a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, CDMA connectivity, WiFi / Bluetooth support, a camera, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. We don't know what version of Windows Mobile this handset will be running, but we could hear about it at MWC which officially kicks off tomorrow!

The good news is that they've just cut the price of that BB in half, so now you can pick it up for as low as $24.99 CAD on a 3-year contract. If you're interested in another deal, Best Buy is offering the smartphone for $29.99 on a 3-year contract but they'll also throw in a $50 gift card into the mix.
