Microsoft Silverlight 3 Launching on July 10
The beta for Microsoft Silverlight 3 was back in March and now we've scooped up the details on the official release date. Just in case you care, Microsoft will release Silverlight 3 on July 10 at the Expression Studio 3 conference. Silverlight 3 has: 3D support, GPU acceleration, H.264 video support. The "out-of-the-browser capabilities" are said to compete with Adobe AIR, but we'll just have to see about that.

HTC Hero Running "Rosie" UI; Promo Video Leaked!
Another thing also visible is the chin of the phone, which is stupid. A while ago, we heard that the chin was implemented to make the trackball more visible, but clearly that was BS, since the Hero does not have a trackball. They just want to stand out - that's all it is.

MSI Announces Gaming GT729 and Multimedia EX723 Laptops
The EX723 is for multimedia people and it basically has the same specs as the above GT729 - except for in a couple of places. The graphics on the EX723 is a GeForce G110M and it only has up to 320GB of storage. It is also sporting a 17-inch display, but it looks like it doesn't have the same 16:9 aspect ratio that the MSI GT729 appears to have.
So far, there has been no word of a price or a release date for these 2 laptops.
