In case you don't remember, Samsung is shipping out their Series 8500 LED-backlit HDTVs (above) in September, but that's not what this post is about. According to DigiTimes, Samsung is looking to ship its 9000 Series HDTVs to the US by the end of this year. This new 9000 Series has: 240Hz technology, a 7,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 2ms response time, and will come in sizes between 46 and 55-inches. The price range of these LED-backlit HDTVs will be between $3,600 and $4,500 USD.
