Capcom Announces a Bunch of Games Including Marvel Vs Capcom 3, With Trailer!

Posted by Unknown Labels: , , ,

It was just a rumour last week and now Capcom has just gone out and announced Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, which is big news! We don't know anything about the game yet, but we do know that it'll get launched a year from now - Spring 2011. That's a long wait, unfortunately, and it'll be hitting the PS3 and the Xbox 360.

Capcom also went on to announce Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, which will be released in Q1 2011. Capcom announced some Nintendo DS games as well: Okamiden (launch set for next year) and Ghost Trick Phantom Detective (launch set for next Winter). Everything else you need to know it below - via Ars Technica.

Update: The video above has been updated and it's now the first MvC 3 trailer. I got it from PS3Blog.

There's also some new details on the upcoming Dead Rising 2. The game will include co-op play, and a downloadable prologue dubbed Dead Rising 2: Case Zero will be released exclusively on Xbox Live before the full game's August release. The game is set three years prior to the retail release and will introduce players to new protagonist Chuck Greene.
It was also announced that both Lost Planet 2 and Super Street Fighter IV will be getting launch day downloadable content. For SSF4, this will take the form of new costume packs, while a free Tournament Mode will also be available as a free download on June 15. Lost Planet 2, meanwhile, will be getting a new map pack.

Capcom Announces Super Street Fighter IV, Launching In Spring 2010 With 8 New Characters -- Trailer Here!

Posted by Unknown Labels: , , , , , , ,

Capcom has just announced that Super Street Fighter IV will be their next game as a part of the Street Fighter franchise. This new game will include a couple of new characters: T. Hawk, Dee Jay, and Juri. There's a grand total of eight new characters expected, so there's still 5 more to be announced. Expect this game to launch in Spring 2010 on the PlayStation 3 and on the Xbox 360. The PC launch details haven't been mentioned yet.

Oh yes, the price will reportedly be cheaper than "full price" so I assume this could mean around $30 to $40. I know there are some really hardcore fans looking forward to this game, so check out both links below. The Joystiq link below has a video, so make sure not to miss that.

Update: It looks like Kotaku got their hands on the first trailer for this game, so check it out below. If it's now working just click on this Kotaku link and it should be available on there.
