Bell is continuing their big week by announcing that they are set to launch the Samsung N310 netbook this Friday, December 11th. You'll find: a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, integrated Intel GMA 950 graphics, a 160GB HDD, a 1.3MP webcam, WiFi b/g/n, three USB 2.0 ports, Windows 7 Starter Edition, and a battery life that's expected to last around 10 hours.

Just like we heard in September, the Samsung Go (N310) will be launching on AT&T with integrated 3G connectivity on November 22nd. It has standard netbook specs so it's nothing to scream about. It features: a 10.1-inch display, an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD, Bluetooth / WiFi support, and Windows 7 Starter Edition. Oh yeah, don't forget that it has a chiclet keyboard. It should be available for $199 on a 2-year contract.

Samsung Go (N310) Netbook Hitting US Soon With 3G Integration

Labels: , , , ,

Samsung is finally looking to ship that Samsung Go (N310) netbook with 3G integration pretty soon. As of right now we don't know which carrier in the US will be carrying the 3G-equipped netbook, but it could be coming about a month from now. This means that it could be pre-installed with Windows 7 Starter Edition. With all of the netbooks having Nvidia's Ion nowadays, would this be something you'd be interested it? I know, I'm not. I'm going to have to play my StarCraft 2 on something.

Samsung N310 GO Netbook Now Available For $450

Labels: , , ,

Just like I told you 3 days ago, the Samsung N310 GO netbook is now on sale. The N310 GO netbook has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, a 160GB HDD, a 1.3MP webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth, MMC/SD card reader, a microphone, and a chiclet keyboard. At the moment, it is available in four colours: navy blue, black, "sunset" red, and "mint" blue. It's got a decent looking style, even though Samsung has said before that their netbooks are meant for stamina rather than looks. It's available on NewEgg and on Samsung's official website for $449.99 USD.

Samsung N310 / Go Netbook Hitting Newegg This Week

Labels: , ,

The Samsung N310 netbook has been available - for pre-orders - for a while now on Best Buy's official website, but now it's Newegg's turn to get in the mix. According to Newegg themselves, they will have the Samsung N310 netbook in stock by the end of this week, so that could mean a July 16-18 date. Samsung has been intending to change the name of this netbook to the Samsung Go for a while now, but on Best Buy's official website it's still the N310. The price of this netbook has not been mentioned, but it should be under $500 USD, just like Best Buy.

This N310 netbook from Samsung has typical netbook specs: a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display, 1GB of RAM, an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, a 160GB HDD, a 6-cell battery, and runs Windows XP.

Samsung N120 Netbook; 10-Hour Battery Life

Labels: , , , , , , ,

Samsung's been releasing a ton of stuff lately. First there was the N310 netbook, then the N110 netbook, and then the Q320 and R522 notebooks. Now this is the Samsung N120 netbook with a six-cell battery which will give you 10.5 hours of battery life! It also has a 12-inch full keyboard, so that's good for those of you with small fingers. It has a 10.1-inch display, an integrated 1.3MP webcam, a 3-in-1 card reader, 3 USB 2.0 ports, and has optional Bluetooth. It will run on Windows XP thankfully and is expected in Europe this April. No word on the price though, of course.

Samsung Q320 and R522 Laptops

Labels: , , , , ,

After announcing 2 laptops yesterday (the N310 and the N110), Samsung is back at it again. This time with the 2 laptops you see in the picture: the Q320 and R522 notebooks, left and right respectively. The Samsung Q320 notebook is "ultra light" weighing in at just 2.2kg. The laptop itself has a 13.4-inch display, an optical disk drive (clearly in the picture), and also has a six-cell battery that is long enough to last around 5 hours. The full spec sheet is not revealed for either of the 2 laptops, but the Q320 does have an Intel Centrino 2 processor, a Nvidia GeForce G105m graphics card and will run on Windows Vista Home Premium.

The Samsung R522 notebook is "designed for the way you live you life." I don't know where Samsung comes up with these quotations, but apparently it's because of its so-called "advanced battery power" that is also expected to last around 5 hours. That's decent for a laptop with: a 15.6-inch display, touchpad lighting, a "chargeable USB port so you can keep your devices up and running even when the laptop is powered down", and a keyboard that has the "latest medical technology" to get those nasty germs off. It comes with the same Intel Centrino 2 processor that the Q320 does, but that's all the specs that are mentioned so far. Both of these laptops are expected to hit Europe in April, but there was no word on a price tag.

Samsung N110; the NC10 Successor

Labels: , , , , ,

Don't get it confused with the Samsung N310 netbook that was just mentioned because this is the Samsung N110. It's fairly the same as its predecessor, the NC10. It has the same: 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor, memory, storage, keyboard, and it also has the bigger battery and extensive touchpad that the special edition NC10 had. It comes with a nice 8-hour battery life in real-time use, according to Engadget. You can get this now for only $469 USD, but you're forewarned since the NC20 is almost here.

Samsung N310; 11 Hours of Battery Life

Labels: , ,

The Samsung N310 "Premium" was just announced and it's pretty solid. With its 10.1-inch screen and packing an Intel Atom processor, what's there not to love? This netbook weighs only 2.72 pounds if you stick with the regular battery that will give you 5 hours of life. You can extend the battery for a whopping 11 hours of battery life if you like, but it'll cost and weigh a bit extra. It also has your standard WiFi and Bluetooth, and if you want 3G it is optional. Other specs include a 160GB HDD and 1GB of RAM, hopefully they are both expandable. It also has 3 USB 2.0 ports, a 3-in-1 card reader and a 1.3MP integrated webcam. The N310 will come in 4 colours: black, greenish-blue, purple, and a salmon red. It will be released in Asia, Western and Eastern Europe, and North America next month, but there is no exact release date or pricing available right now.
