Nokia Launching N86, 2730, 6350, 6750, and "Holiday Red" E71 By the End of This Year

Labels: , , , , , , , ,

Although the details are scarce, it looks like Canada will get the Nokia N86, Nokia 2730, Nokia 6750, the Nokia 6350, and even a new colour for the Nokia E71 later this year. They'll likely launch on Rogers and Fido, but it's unconfirmed at the time. The most exciting hand is the N86 - hands-down - with its 8MP camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, a 2.6-inch QVGA AMOLED display, GPS / WiFi support, and 8GB of internal storage.

The other handsets are much lower-end. The Nokia 2730 has: a 2-inch QVGA display, an FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 2MP camera. The 6350 and 6750 are both basic flip phones. The new colour of the Nokia E71 is a "Holiday Red."

AT&T No Longer Selling the Nokia 6750 Mural

Labels: , , ,

AT&T has just halted the sales of the Nokia 6750 Mural handset. They are citing that the 6750 Mural won't operate on AT&T's 3G networks right now, so if you want a new one you should send it back to AT&T before September 25th. They'll send it back to you as fast as they can because they have to update the firmware on this handset. We don't know when the Nokia 6750 Mural will be released on AT&T again.

Nokia 6750 "Mural" Hitting AT&T Later This Year

Labels: , ,

This flip phone from Nokia has just made its way past the FCC and it will be released on AT&T. The spec sheet is pretty unknown but there are a few known things. The Nokia 6750 "Mural" has 850/1900MHz 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, a camera with an unknown resolution, and also a memory card slot. Boy Genius suggests that the phone could be running on Symbian S40, since it lacks a "menu button", but that's just their speculation - it could be accurate though. We'll see more of this phone in the future, but I can say one thing. This is the sexiest clamshell / flip phone I've ever seen. Release date and pricing has not been mentioned yet.
