HP Updates Majority Of Their Desktop PCs, Introduce the New 200xt All In One

Labels: , , , , , , , , ,

A new all in one PC from HP has just been introduced and it's the 200xt. This is like their 200t all in one PC but it's sporting this year's Intel Core CPUs so that's definitely a welcomed upgrade. This is just about the only new PC they released today but they did update almost their whole desktop line-up. They've updated their Pavilion and Slimline Series to bring AMD Sempron / Phenom / Core i5 CPU options, while the Pavilion Elite has been upgraded for Core i7 options. Everything you need to know is on LogicHP.

HP Updates Their Pavilion Line-Up; AMD / Intel CPUs and Touchscreens Coming On May 19th

Labels: , , , , , ,

HP hasn't stopped just yet. They updated their 14.5-inch Pavilion 15.6-inch dv5, dv6, and 17.3-inch dv7 (above) notebooks. They all have a new aluminum body which looks quite sexy and it's accompanied with AMD's new dual and quad-core CPU options - the dual-core 2.8GHz Phenom II N620 for example. The dv5 has support for up to 1TB of HDD storage, but there's nothing else too exciting in there. The dv6 sports a touchscreen display and packs up to 1TB of HDD storage, while the dv7 has up to 2TB of HDD Storage and discrete ATI Radeon graphics that support Crossfire and "Beats-processed audio that includes a subwoofer." This Pavilion refresh will come on May 19th and the dv5 and dv6 notebooks will be going for $650, the dv7 will cost you $800.

They didn't stop there. They've updated their 14-inch Pavilion dm4 as well and it now has support for full-power Intel CPUs as well as up to a 640GB HDD, and discrete ATI Mobility Radeon graphics. HP decided to rip out the optical drive so it's now under an inch thick and weighs 4.4 pounds. This one will cost you $730 and will also be available on the 19th.

HP Pavilion Dv2 Notebook Launching on June 10th

Labels: , , , , ,

The HP Pavilion dv2 notebook that we heard about back in April looks like it will be available on June 10th. The dv2 will have: a 12.1-inch display, and will run on AMD's new Neo CPU. We'll just have to see how it stacks up against Atom because Intel is already in a large, large lead. On a side note, the price still hasn't been mentioned, but in April we heard a $750 price tag. Let's hope it gets cut down a bit...

This notebook will be available in 2 colours: Moonlight White (above) and Expresso Black (below). It's now available at a base price of $799 USD, but expect to pay much more if you opt for some better specs, of course.

HP Pavilion Dv6, Dv7, HDX 16 and Others Get Updated

Labels: , , , , , ,

Let's kick off the HP notebooks updates with the HP Pavilion Dv6 (above). It is getting some downgrades so that the price will shrink a little bit. It will be receiving the Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4200 and the Core 2 Duo T6400 CPU and also the ATI Mobility Radeon HD4530 and HD4650 graphics cards. The Pavilion Dv7 notebook also has some new changes. It has some upgrades, such as: the ATI Mobility Radeon HD4000-series graphics card, and a Core 2 Quad Q90000 CPU. The HDX 16 (and possibly HDX 18), on the other hand, will be receiving some upgrades; it will be getting Nvidia's GeForce GT 130M graphics card. Looks like Giampaulo chose the wrong time to get his HP HDX 16.
