A new and large Samsung smartphone has just hit the FCC and it's the HSPA+ capable Infuse 4G which is rocking the SGH-i997 model number. Let's hope it gets announced by AT&T soon because we already know that it's headed there. It could also hit the North of the border as well - possibly Rogers. The Infuse 4G packs a 1.2GHz CPU, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, an 8MP AF camera with an LED flash and Full HD 1080p video recording, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, and Android with the Touchwiz UI. Keep in mind that Engadget heard that the Infuse would actually be sporting a 4.3-inch display - down from 4.5-inches - because the display might not be ready for mainstream yet. Check it out at the FCC.
