Finally! Sprint USA has just announced that they'll be releasing the HTC EVO Shift 4G on January 9th for $149.99 on a 2-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate. That means the rumours were dead on. The EVO Shift 4G officially features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.7-inch touchscreen display, a 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording capabilities, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth / GPS support, hotspot capabilities, and Android 2.2 along with the Sense UI. This will be Sprint's third 4G smartphone and it's their cheapest. Pre-orders at Best Buy Mobile will reportedly start on Friday, January 7th and if you're a RewardZone member then you can start pre-ordering on the 6th.
