T-Mobile Officially Announces the myTouch; Sporting a Front-Facing Camera, HSPA+, and Froyo

Labels: , , , , , , ,

And this is why I highly doubt that T-Mobile will be launching the myTouch for free on a 2-year contract. The carrier has just officially announced their next Android-based smartphone and it's a pretty good one. The myTouch sports a 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording, a next-gen Qualcomm MSM8255 1GHz CPU, a front-facing camera for video chatting, WiFi 802.11n support, HSPA+ connectivity, and Android 2.2. Prices and the exact release date aren't mentioned but T-Mobile did says that it'll be available in time for the holidays. That means it'll be available before the end of the year. In the mean time, check it out on T-Mobile.
