Of course Sony has decided to update their notebook line-up. Their Sony Vaio F Series notebooks (above) will be featuring a 16.4-inch display with (up to) a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, Intel Core 2 Quad CPU options (where's the Core i5?), a backlit keyboard, a Blu-ray drive, and an HDMI port.
The Sony Vaio Z features a 13.1-inch LED-backlit display, a backlit keyboard, SSD options, and a carbon-fiber / aluminum body.
Sony's newest member is their Vaio Y Series which will feature: a 13.3-inch LED-backlit display, an HDMI output, a standard battery that should last 7 hours, and an extended battery that will somehow last 17 hours. This is somewhat similar to the Vaio Z, but it should be cheaper and slightly heavier.
Their new Sony Vaio W Series notebook features: a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, a chiclet keyboard, and Windows 7 Starter Edition.
