Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Hitting Japan's NTT DoCoMo In April; China In Spring Too

Labels: , , , , , , ,

The XPERIA X10 is gracing Canada's Rogers in Q2 of this year, it's likely headed to T-Mobile UK this year and it looks like Japan is getting some love as well. NTT DoCoMo is looking to launch the XPERIA X10 as the docomo Smartphone Xperia (SO-01B) and it'll be available starting in April. The price hasn't been mentioned yet but it'll be available in both black and white.

The X10 features a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen display with an 854 x 480 resolution, HSDPA / WiFi / GPS support, the 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, Timescape and Mediascape, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an 8MP AF camera, 1GB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot. It's said to be running Android 1.6 but everyone is begging for SE to update it to at least version 2.0.

You don't live in Japan? Well, China will also be getting this smartphone in Spring.
