Viewsonic Unveils Android-Based VTablet 101

Labels: , ,

Viewsonic has unveiled their latest product and, of course, it's a new tablet PC. Dubbed the VTablet 101, it has some decent specs on-board. It's got an 8.9-inch touchscreen display with a 1,024 x 800 resolution, Nvidia Tegra 2 (T20) graphics, an ARM Cortex A9 1GHz CPU, a webcam, Bluetooth / WiFi / 3G support, and 4GB of internal flash storage. It's clearly running Android which still lacks Flash support but who needs it with HTML5 on the way. This tablet will be priced at around $440 whenever they release it.

I wonder how this will size up against Apple's tablet... maybe you should wait for that one.
