In Korea, we've just heard of two new Windows Mobile 6.5 handsets that should be launched fairly soon. They announced the LG Lilac and the Samsung Prism. Not much is known about either handset, but they both have WiFi / 3G support and the latter also has WiMAX. We don't know exactly when they will launch, but since the Prism has WiMAX I'd say it's the higher-end of the two.

So much for no multitouch in the Internet Explorer browser. According to WMPowerUser, the HTC Leo / HD2 will actually be shipping with Opera Mobile 9.7 which will support multitouch. This was found in the latest HTC Leo ROM this morning. This definitely makes more sense, but of course, it's not confirmed yet.

Windows 7 Shipping On October 13th -- To Custom-Built PCs
According to the latest news, Microsoft will actually be allowing some custom PC makers to ship Windows 7 over a week earlier than scheduled. Starting on October 13th, Windows 7 will be pre-installed on custom-built PCs. Hooray! For the rest of you out there, October 22nd is the date.
P.S. I heard from a friend of a friend of mine that the Windows 7 RTM torrent has been spotted around the interwebs somewhere and his Windows 7 Ultimate is activated. Just saying.

Vizio VF551XVT 55-Inch LED-Backlit TV Spotted At Costco For $2,000
It looks like the LED-backlit Vizio VF551XVT HDTV has just been spotted at Costco. Clearly, it has a $1,999 USD price tag, so it's pretty cheap for a 1080p-capable HDTV with 5 HDMI inputs and 240Hz technology.
