Sony Vaio P Gets Atom Z550 CPU and WiMAX Option, New Benchmarks

Labels: , , , , ,

The Sony Vaio P has a striking design, but the performances was not doing so well at launch. This could be due to the fact that it had an underpowered CPU and was running Windows Vista. For future Vaio P users, they are in luck because Sony has just given the Vaio P an upgraded Intel Atom Z550 CPU and a WiMAX option. Along with the SSD drive, the Vaio P almost did twice as well as it did when it was originally launched - on the latest benchmark tests.

The keys just look big compared to the actual Vaio P itself cause it's tiny. The keyboard is actually 100% normal size, so it's just as big as yours. :)

Sony VAIO P series is very light the weights is only 638 grams so anyone could carry it and use it as a travel companion.

Thanks for pointing that out! Unfortunately, it's also painfully slow. Hopefully it'll be faster when a new one comes out this late Fall!
