Acer's been announcing a bunch of new products today at a live event in New Jersey. One of the hottest announcements right now is the Acer Aspire Timeline notebooks. They will come in 3 models: 13.3, 14.1, and 15.6-inches. They will all have: an LED-backlit display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, an Intel ULV processor (to go green), a multitouch touchpad, and HDMI and S/PDIF outputs. The Timeline notebooks boast an 8-hour battery life with an HDD and a 10-hour battery life with an SDD. There are 2 more amazing features: it's just 1-inch thick and it will be priced somewhere in between $699 to $899 USD range. If I was looking for a notebook right now I would definitely get this. It has an amazing spec sheet for such a small price. Let's hope it has more than 1GB of RAM and around a 250GB HDD, I'd be fine with that.
