We've known about the Lenovo ThinkPad X220 and X220t notebooks for a couple of weeks now and it looks like they're now shipping. They're available right now for $849 and $1,249, respectively, which makes the recently-refreshed Alienware notebooks look cheap by comparison. Inside the 12.5-inch displays you'll find an Intel Core i3-2310M CPU.

The integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics are there to stay as well as the 1,366 x 768 resolution displays. That's some sad news but at least the displays are IPS and you can opt for some longer battery life if you need it. Check out the ThinkPad X220 here and the X220t here.

Yes, the BlackBerry Playbook came out today but if you're not obsessed with RIM then you might want to look for another tablet. The WiFi-only Motorola XOOM has been available for a while and Telus is now selling them as well. Of course, you may have already tried one out at Best Buy. It's going for $599 so check it out on Telus.
