Telus has just released their latest Android smartphone and it's a rugged one. Yes, it's the Motorola Defy which is now available on the carrier for $79.99 on a 3-year contract, $279.99 on a 2-year contract, $329.99 on a 1-year contract, and $379.99 contract-free. That's a pretty good price for a rugged Android phone so you might want to give this one a look.
This handset features a 3.7-inch Gorilla Glass display with a 480 x 854 resolution, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 support, an 800MHz CPU, a 5MP AF camera with an LED flash, and Android 2.2. Check it out at Telus.

Ahh, yes. The Samsung Gem has just hit another carrier in the US and it's US Cellular. This one, if you remember, sports a 3.2-inch WQVGA display, a 3.2MP camera, an 800MHz CPU, and Android 2.2. This one's actually available right now for $29.99 on a 2-year contract after rebates so check it out on US Cellular. It's no joke.
