Mobile Syrup's tipsters has just mentioned something really important if you like Koodo Mobile in Canada. First off, the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 will be hitting the carrier in the future, but the exact release date and pricing is still unknown. The second handset that the carrier will launch is the LG Cookie Plus which is already available on Telus. This handset sports a 3-inch touchscreen display, a 3MP camera, an FM radio, Bluetooth 2.1 support, and some social integration. This should be launching for $175 contract-free but the release date is still unknown. Look out for both of them soon though.

T-Mobile USA To Offer the Galaxy Tab For $399 and $649 Contract-Free?
Two days ago we heard that Sprint will be launching the Samsung Galaxy Tab for $399 on a 2-year contract along with a $599 contract-free price and it looks like we know just how much T-Mobile USA will be launching it for as well. According to this leaked slide coming from Tmo News, T-Mobile will also offer the Galaxy Tab for $399 on a 2-year contract but it'll cost you $50 more contract-free at $649. Of course, this model doesn't have phone functionalities in the US so maybe you'll be better off with the carrier's Galaxy S variant which is the Vibrant. At least it has a rear and front-facing camera though, something that the iPad lacks at this point.
