This 58" Razor LED display has a 21x9 aspect ratio, with an incredible resolution of 2560 x 1080p, allowing consumers to view 2.35:1 "Scope" aspect ratio films using the entire display area, with no loss of resolution and no black bars. With 1 million to 1 Mega Dynamic Contrast Ratio™, Smart Dimming™, and 120 Hz with Smooth Motion technology, the XVTPRO580CD delivers brilliant details and rich colors to bring the cinematic experience into the home.

Its striking wide appearance is further enhanced by its brushed aluminum chassis. The Cinema Wide Display also includes VIA, built-in wireless (802.11n dual-band) or wired networking, and a Bluetooth universal remote control with sliding QWERTY keyboard. It is expected to ship later this year.

Vizio Launching LED TVs in September / October

Labels: , , ,

According to DigiTimes, Vizio is looking to release their LED TVs over the next two months - or so the sources say. These LED TVs are probably from their XVT-Series that we heard back in early June. These LED-backlit HDTVs (not pictured above) will have: a 55-inch display, 240Hz technology, and a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1. Of course, these TVs will be fairly cheap compared to the rest of the field as Vizio plans to launch these TVs for just $1,999.99 USD. The source also mentioned that over 50% of Vizio's LCD HDTVs next year will be LED-backlit.

Vizio Releasing Its Very Own Internet-Connected HDTVs Later This Year, They're Still Cheap

Labels: ,

Vizio is known as being the brand that sells the cheap HDTVs. Well, they look like they'll be rolling out their own set of Internet-connected HDTVs later this year. The SV422XVT, SV472XVT, and VF552XVT will be available in November, October, and December, respectively. These TVs will be bundled with VIZIO Internet Apps, such as: Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Rhapsody, Blockbuster OnDemand, Showtime, Flickr, etc. Guess what the best part about these Internet-connected HDTVs are? The price - they will still be cheap. The 55-inch (VF552XVT) will cost only $2,199 USD, which is the same price as the model that it is going to replace. The 47-inch (SV472XVT) will cost just $200 more than the old model, which comes out to a $1,699 USD price tag - but don't forget that the 47-inch will now be LED-backlit. The 42-inch (SV422XVT) will hit the market first for $1,199 USD, but it will ship without LED capabilities.

If that wasn't enough, I'm sure the Bluetooth remote below will attract you with its slide-out QWERTY keyboard and all.
