A couple of new Viiv products are set to invade a Best Buy near you - if you live in the US that is. This includes the S5, S7 (above), and the X70EX. The S5 is a tablet that features a 5-inch touchscreen display and is going for $549.99; the premium model goes for $799.99. The S7 which sports a 7-inch swiveling touchscreen display and a keyboard is going for $579.99 while the premium model goes for $649.99. It's been a long time since we've heard anything about the Viliv S7 and now it has just been spotted on Dynamism. The battery life was tested in Korea back in July and it lasted pretty long - although not 9.5 hours like Viliv said it would. You can now check it out on Dynamism's website because the basic model featuring a 7-inch swiveling touchscreen display is going for $629 USD. The higher-end model with 3G and a 32GB SSD costs a little bit more, it's priced at $799 USD. You can check it out on Dynamism here.

Viliv's latest UMPC offering, the S7, has just been spotted in Korea. A couple of people tested out the battery life of this UMPC, but before I go through that I'll briefly go through the specs of this UMPC. So the Viliv S7 has: a 7-inch swiveling touchscreen with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom CPU, runs on Windows XP, and is said to have a battery long enough to last 9.5 hours. After the battery life testings took place, these were the results below.

• Video playback: 6 hours, 13 minutes (DivX, 720 x 400, 1.64Mbps, wireless off, max screen brightness); 7 hours, 28 minutes (XviD, 640 x 480, 1.64Mbps, wireless off, mid screen brightness)
• Korea@Home distributed processing: 5 hours, 45 minutes (WiFi on, max screen brightness)
• DMB viewing: 6 hours, 50 minutes (full-screen, wireless off, mid screen brightness)
