A couple of new Viiv products are set to invade a Best Buy near you - if you live in the US that is. This includes the S5, S7 (above), and the X70EX. The S5 is a tablet that features a 5-inch touchscreen display and is going for $549.99; the premium model goes for $799.99. The S7 which sports a 7-inch swiveling touchscreen display and a keyboard is going for $579.99 while the premium model goes for $649.99. Yes, the Viliv S5 MID is almost here. This Intel Atom powered sucker will be available for pre-orders starting on April 27 (specifically 1 p.m. EST), according to Dynamism. The said MID will be officially shipped out and will be on your doorstep by May 8. If you decide to pre-order one of these MIDs then you will also get a free spare battery, a car kit, and a leather pouch that is said to be a $135 USD value. Since I haven't talked about this MID before I figured that it would be good to briefly go through the spec sheet. The Viliv S5 MID will have a 4.8-inch touchscreen with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, the Intel Atom 1.33GHz Z520 CPU, a 60GB HDD, 1GB of RAM, GPS, Bluetooth, and WiFi. So remember, April 27 for $599 USD.
