Labels: , , , , , ,

Well, this is something new. Instead of waiting for Chrome OS, Toshiba could be planning to launch the AC100-114, which is a 10-inch netbook. This netbook will reportedly feature a 1,024 x 600 resolution display, the Nvidia Tegra T20 chipset, 512MB of DDR2 RAM, a 16GB SSD, WiFi b/g/n, HDMI / VGA / USB ports, a 1.3MP webcam, a 3-cell battery that will last up to 5-hours, and Android 2.1. Price and release dates are still TBA and we don't know for sure if this will hit the market. However, the specs do sound like they'd be perfect for Chrome OS (SSD and all).
