AT&T's Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus Now Available For Free On HP's Site

If you're interested then HP is actually selling all of Palm's WebOS phones free on a 2-year contract. This includes Sprint's and Verizon's own variants. More importantly, AT&T's Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus are available for free on a 2-year contract as well. They're also throwing in some bonus accessories into the mix as well, including an in-vehicle charger, a leather case, and a Bluetooth headset. Check it out here if you want to scoop one up.

Sprint USA looks like they have just cut the price of the Palm Pixi all the way down to free on a 2-year contract. In case you forgot this handset doesn't have WiFi, but it does have WebOS -- obviously. Anyways, check it out on Sprint's site here.

Palm Finally Releases WebOS 1.4 For the Pre and Pixi, Flash 10 and Video Recording Support

Palm has just released webOS 1.4 for their Pre and Pixi handsets. This is great news because both of those handsets now have Flash 10 support along with the ability to record video. Check out what Gizmodo said below for a bunch of other changes. The update is available if you have a Pre / Pixi on Sprint, O2, and Movistar. If you have the Pre Plus / Pixi Plus on Verizon it's available to you as well.

Update: According to Mobile Syrup, this obviously means that Canadian Pre owners are going to have to wait a bit since Bell isn't on the carrier list. No word on when those owners will get webOS 1.4.

The latest rumour states that webOS 1.4 is headed to the Palm Pre and the Pixi on February 25th. The rumoured Februrary 15th date clearly didn't happen, so it could really happen in three days. In case you forgot, version 1.4 of webOS will bring video recording capabilities.

Verizon Launching Palm Pre Plus For $150 and Pixi Plus For $100?

According to Phone Arena's tipster, the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus are going to launch for $149.99 and $99.99 on a 2-year contract, respectively, after rebates. They'll both be hitting Verizon in 10 days - January 25th - and they have some improvements over their original models. The Pre Plus has 16GB of internal storage and the Pixi has WiFi.

Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus Headed To Verizon On January 25th; Video Recording and Flash Support Soon

Just like the leak told us yesterday the Palm Pre Plus and the Pixi Plus are headed to Verizon. Both handsets will be available on January 25th. The Pre Plus will have double the RAM and ROM and up to 16GB of internal storage. As you can see in the image above the silver button has disappeared. The Pixi Plus will be WiFi-equipped.

Palm has mentioned that video recording is headed to WebOS along with Flash Support (beta) in WebOS 1.4. The updates should be on their way "soon" whenever that is.

Palm Pre Plus Has 16GB of Storage and Pixi Plus Has WiFi, Both Headed To Verizon

We all know that Verizon will be launching the Palm Pre Plus and the Palm Pixi plus, but we didn't know what the differences would be from their original counterparts. To be honest, there's not much of a difference. The Palm Pre Plus will have 16GB of internal storage and the Pixi Plus will have WiFi support. Both additions are welcomed, but I was expecting more to be honest.

AT&T Also Planning To Launch 2 WebOS Handsets This Year

Yes, AT&T is planning to launch five Android handsets this year, but they've also announced that they plan to launch two WebOS handsets as well. We don't know what they'll be but there are only 2 WebOS handsets right now, that's the Pre and the Pixi. Maybe we'll see a new WebOS from Palm this year, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Verizon Palm Pre Gets a WiFi Certificate; Stocking Up On 600,000 Palm Pixis As Well

So, a Palm smartphone has just popped up in the WiFi certification and it looks like it could actually be the upcoming Pre - the one headed to Verizon. To make things even more interesting Verizon could also be looking to stock up 600,000 Pixis next year as well. Maybe both handsets hit Verizon at the exact same time, kind of like when Verizon launched the Motorola DROID and the HTC Droid Eris.

CDMA Palm Pixi Spotted at the FCC With WiFi, Possibly Headed To Verizon

The Palm Pixi is already available on Sprint, but if the FCC is to be believed it could also be headed to Verizon as well. A CDMA variant of the Pixi has just been approved by them. To make Sprint - and current Pixi fans - even sadder, this model has support for WiFi b/g. The Pixi on Sprint does not. Check out the FCC filing here.

Today's the day! You can now get the Palm Pixi for $99 on a 2-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate at your local Sprint store. Please don't do it though. Instead you should go on Wirefly's website and get the Pixi for $24.99. You can also get it on LetsTalk for $29.99.

Palm Pixi Shows Up In Walmart Stores Already, Expected To Launch November 15th

It looks like some Palm Pixis have just made their way to some random Walmart in the USA. These aren't expected to get launched until Sunday, November 15th so they're stocking pretty early. It'll be available for $99 come launch day. Someone is reporting that some stores were selling the Pixi for as high as $400, since it is before the official date.

Adobe Flash Coming To WebOS In H1 2010; First Palm Pixi Ad

We already heard that Adobe is working on getting Flash to everyone - except the iPhone - but it looks like this page clearly states that it'll be available for Palm's WebOS in the first half of 2010. This is much different than the "end of the year" news we were hearing about last month. Hopefully the beta starts by the end of this year though.

There's not much to tell you about it, but below is the first Palm Pixi ad. Hint: It's definitely more pleasing to watch than the ones with the red-head.

Canada's Telus Launching the Palm Pre and Palm Pixi In January 2010 Too!?

This morning we got confirmation that Telus would be launching the Motorola Milestone in Canada. Well, the good news is that they're not stopping there. The latest rumour states that Telus will be launching both the Palm Pre and the Palm Pixi in early 2010 as well - more specifically, as early as January. We'll see if it's true, likely before the end of the year.

Palm Pixi Shipping With New Version of WebOS!

If you listen very carefully, you'll hear that there'll be a new WebOS version shipping with Palm's Pixi on Sprint. It's unconfirmed what version number it'll be, but it will like be either 1.2.9 or 1.3. Of course, it'll have a couple more features, but I doubt it'll be anything too ground-breaking - not like Android 2.0. Anyways, we'll have to see in two weeks.
