A not-so-new Motorola handset has been spotted lounging around at the FCC HQ and it's the i1x / i1q. We've already seen this handset in the wild before, sporting a QWERTY keyboard, and it was sporting Nextel branding so that's where it's headed. Of course, it could hit other carriers as well but that's one of them. It's similar to the company's DROID Pro, this one's just a bit lower end. Check it out at the FCC.

Telus has finally released the Motorola i1 so the wait is over. This handset is going for $249.99 on a 3-year contract and for $399.99 contract-free so it's up to you what you want to choose. The i1 packs PTT capabilities, a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, a 5MP camera, a microSD card slot, and Android 2.1. This handset is also a bit rugged so it'll withstand a bit of water, dust, and vibration so that's something good to have. Check it out on Telus.

The wait for the Motorola i1 (Opus One) on Telus will be over soon. Telus will be launching this Android-based handset on October 12 on their MiKE network. It'll be available for $299.99 contract-free and it features a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, PTT capabilities, a 5MP camera, WiFi support, GPS, a microSD card slot, and version 1.5 of the OS. It's just four days away so you'll have to wait until this long weekend finishes.

Airtel has become the first carrier in Canada to release the Motorola i1. This handset sports a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, a 5MP camera, WiFi / GPS support, a microSD card slot, PTT capabilities, and Android 1.5. We've know for a while that the Motorola i1 (Opus One) would be hitting Canada and it looks like this has just been the final piece to the puzzle. The handset has hit Motorola Canada's website (here) and it's going to be hitting Telus' MiKE network sometime this Fall while it'll be hitting Airtel Wireless in the next couple of weeks. The i1 packs a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, a 5MP camera, WiFi / GPS support, a microSD card slot, and Android 1.5. Airtel has mentioned that this will be available through them for $399.99 contract-free.

As expected, Sprint USA has released the Android-based Motorola i1 handset. This phone packs a 3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 5MP camera, Swype, and Android 2.1 with MOTOBLUR. Exactly a month after expected, Boost Mobile has released the Motorola i1 which is the first Android-based PTT handset. This is available for $299.99 contract-free so it's one of the most expensive pre-paid phones out there. Sadly, it's now available online so you'll actually have to get up and head to your nearest retail store.

Well, we just heard that the Motorola i1 will be hitting Telus' MiKE network sometime in the Fall and it'll also be hitting another carrier in the US as well. Sprint has just announced that they'll be launching the Android-based handset on July 25th and it'll be priced at $150 on a 2-year contract after a $50 rebate. It'll be available exclusively online on the 25th and then you'll be able to purchase it in stores starting on August 8th. To recap, the i1 features some rugged capabilities, a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, a microSD card slot, GPS / WiFi support, and a 5MP camera.

As expected, the Motorola i1 equipped with Android is headed North of the border, to Telus' MiKE network. The exact release date and pricing is still unknown, but it's coming sometime in the Fall. In case you forgot, the i1 features a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display (320 x 480 resolution), a 5MP camera, WiFi / GPS support, a microSD card slot, and possibly just Android 1.5. This touchscreen handset is also a bit rugged, so that's definitely a positive for those of you who like to drop their phones. The pre-register is up on Telus' site.

We don't know if this leaked Sprint calendar is up-to-date but if it is then they could be launching the Motorola i1 (Opus One) on July 25th. Of course, the calendar doesn't mention a price tag and another picture shows off the upcoming Epic 4G (below). Sadly, the release date for that smartphone isn't outlined anywhere.

We already know that Sprint plans to launch the Motorola i1 (Opus One), but this new leak also tells us that the Samsung Moment II aka the M910 will also be hitting the carrier as the Intercept. Both of these handsets are going to be running Android. The i1 will be available on June 20th, while the Intercept will be invading stores on July 11th.

This leak also tells us that Sprint plans to expand their 4G coverage to a couple more cities in July, including: Rochester, NY, Syracuse, NY, Kennewick, WA, Pasco, WA, Visalia, WA, etc.

It'll be priced at $349.99 contract-free, which will be their most expensive phone ever - Unwired View points out - but it also is their first Android phone. The handset itself features a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 5MP camera with a flash, WiFi, the Swype keyboard, GPS support, a microSD card slot, and the MOTOBLUR skin.

Thanks to these leak, Sprint looks like they could be yet another carrier launching the Motorola i1 (Opus One). We already know that this handset is available on SouthernLINC and it's headed to Boost Mobile but it looks like Sprint wants to get in on the action as well. If you take a look at the photo above, Sprint looks like they could launch it for $149.99 on a 2-year contract. Apparently, the release date is said to be June 20th thanks to some internal screenshot.

Update: According to Engadget, this handset could actually hit Sprint on June 6th - not the 20th. The photo is below in case you were questioning how they came up with this date. The initial launch will be available by direct ship and then it'll be available to "the rest of the sales channels" on July 11.

We just heard about the Motorola i1 (Opus One) hitting US via Boost Mobile yesterday and it has just hit Best Buy's site. It looks like it'll be available for $349.99 contract-free but keep in mind that this is the first pre-paid Android handset in the US. It's "Coming Soon" but we still don't know exactly when. Yes, the Motorola i1 (Opus One) has just hit SouthernLINC, but it's going to hit another carrier in the US in the near future as well. It'll be hitting Boost Mobile and will be available contract-free with a $50 unlimited data / web / text plan. This will be the first pre-paid Android handset to hit the US and that's some pretty good news. The upfront contract-free price hasn't been mentioned so look out for it in the next couple of days / weeks.

Like we heard almost two months ago, the Motorola i1 (Opus One) would be available on SouthernLINC in the US first. It's now available (here) for a whopping $200 on a 2-year contract and $275 on a 1-year contract. In case you forgot, this handset is actually quite rugged with a military 810F spec. Other specs include a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 5MP camera with a dual-LED flash, GPS / WiFi support, a microSD card slot, the Swype keyboard, Adobe Flash Lite support, and Android underneath MOTOBLUR.

The Motorola i1 (formerly the Opus One) will be hitting SouthernLINC in the US first before it hits anywhere else. Of course, this only benefits the people that live in Alabama, Georgia, and the western part of Florida since you'll only find the carrier there. This handset is the first iDEN Android handset, and the launch for the rest of America should follow up shortly after.

Motorola has finally announced the i1 Android phone which will be the first Android phone that has push-to-talk functionality and iDEN connectivity. It's headed to Sprint and you may also know it as the Opus One. This handset features a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 5MP AF camera with a dual-LED flash, WiFi / Bluetooth 2.0 support, Opera Mini 5 (with Flash Lite), and Android 1.5 under the MOTOBLUR skin. This one will be available in the Summer time so you still have to wait a little bit.

The i1 aka the Motorola Opus One looks like Telus could launch it on their own MiKE network. This would be a perfect addition to their line-up seeing how it's the first iDEN-capable Android handset. When it launches it'll feature a 3.1-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display with a 320 x 480 resolution, a 3MP AF camera with an LED flash and video capabilities, a non-standard 2.5mm headphone jack, WiFi / aGPS support, and MOTOBLUR over top of Android 1.5. There's no slide-out QWERTY keyboard on here so that's really the only let down - and the fact that it's running version 1.5. It's just a rumour right now, so we're going to have to wait for an official announcement. It'll apparently launch in Q3 this year, which is a little bit late.

Remember how Motorola was preparing an Android phone in the future that was iDEN-capable? Well, it looks like it could be called the i1, or at least, that's what it's called internally - FCC filing here. It's packing Bluetooth 2.1 along with WiFi but that's all we really know about it so far. I'm pretty sure it'll feature a touchscreen display because it's pretty rare for an Android device not to have a touchscreen. This handset will likely be headed to Sprint Direct Connect in the US.

Update: According to new news, Engadget has just mentioned that the i1 has been confirmed to be the Opus One.
