It looks like Sprint has just announced that they'll be launching two LG phones this year, the LG Rumor Touch (above on the left) and the long-rumoured LG Lotus Elite (above on the right). The Rumor Touch will feature a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 2MP camera, 3G connectivity, Bluetooth support, a microSD card slot, GPS support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. This handset will be available in Q1 2010, but the price is still TBA.

The other handset is the successor to the LG Lotus. The Lotus Elite brings a 2MP camera, a microSD card slot, GPS / Bluetooth support, and an internal and external display to the table. This will launch on January 10th (in red) and on January 14th (in black) for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate on a 2-year contract.

The title said it all. Both LG and Sprint are feeling the need to unveil some "stylish" new phone at CES 2010. We don't have any hints what the phone could be, but we have a guess that could've nailed it already. Mobile Crunch is taking a guess that it will be the Lotus 2, but we don't know for sure until CES 2010 takes place.

The LG LX610 aka the Lotus 2 seems to have just been pictured. It looks quite odd to be honest, but it looks like that external display is definitely big enough to be touchscreen-capable - as rumoured. It clearly sports the same styling as the last-gen so it'll have a QWERTY keyboard and an internal display. This handset is expected to launch in January 2010 on Sprint.

Reaffirming what we heard way back in July, the latest rumour states that the LG Lotus 2 will be coming to Sprint in January 2010. It's rumoured to sport the same kind of styling with a microSD card slot that can support up to 32GB cards. The best rumour about the Lotus 2 is that the external display will actually be a touchscreen, but that's not even that great since the external display is somewhat small. Look out for it next year.

This picture - if real - could tell us quite a bit about Sprint's future handsets. According to the picture, Sprint will be launching the HTC Hero and the Samsung InstinctQ M900 on October 11th - two Android devices in one day! It looks like the BlackBerry Curve 8530 "Aries" could also launch later this year, on November 1st; it looks like they will also be launching a direct successor to the LG Lotus, the LG LX610 Lotus 2, sometime next year. Of course, we don't know what the prices will be like.
