Lenovo Reveals IdeaPad Y460p, Y560p, and IdeaCentre K330; Intel "Sandy Bridge" CPUs On Board

Labels: , , , , , , ,

Lenovo has just outlined new notebooks and a new desktop PC that they'll be launching in early 2011. The first two are notebooks which I'll talk about first. There'll be the IdeaPad Y460p and the Y560p which will feature Intel's next-gen Core i7 "Sandy Bridge" CPUs, up to a 750GB HDD, up to 8GB of RAM, and an option for Lenovo's RapidDrive technology which will put the OS on a 32GB SSD so that it'll boot up much quicker. Of course, they'll be sporting 14 and 15.6-inch displays, respectively.

Last, but not least, is for the desktop PC fans out there. Lenovo will be launching the IdeaCentre K330 in early 2011 too. This one will pack Core i7 CPU options, up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM, twin RAID-0 HDD storage options (up to 4TB), optional Blu-ray drive, and an optional TV tuner if you're interested.

We'll likely see all three of these products at CES 2011 since the notebooks are set to be available on January 11th. The desktop should be available a little bit later on in early 2011 as well. The notebooks should be starting at $849 while the desktop will start at $699.

Lenovo Announces S10-3 / S10-3t Netbooks; IdeaPad Y460 / Y560 Notebooks With Core i3 / i5 / i7 Options

Labels: , , , , , , , , , , ,

Lenovo has announced a bunch of products in the last couple of days and what you see above is the IdeaPad S10-3 and the S10-3t. The only difference from the two is that the latter is a netbook tablet, while the former is just a normal netbook. They both come packed with a 10.1-inch display (swiveling capacitive multi-touch on the S10-3t only), an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU, up to 2GB of RAM, integrated GMA 3150 graphics, up to a 320GB HDD, Bluetooth support, integrated webcams, a 5-in-1 card reader, a VGA output, USB 2.0 ports, and Windows 7 / XP OS options. The S10-3 will be available for $349.99, while the S10-3t will be available for $499.99. They'll both be available by the end of this month.

Update: They should be available soon, but if you're impatient Engadget has just pointed out that Amazon (here) now has them available for pre-orders. Unfortunately, the S10-3 netbook is available for $379.99 USD which is $30 more expensive than the MSRP will be. You might want to hold off on this one, but I'm not stopping you.

That's not all. Lenovo has just announced their latest notebook models the IdeaPad Y460 and Y560. The Y460 sports a 14-inch display and will have up to a 320GB HDD, ATI Radeon HD5740 / HD5650 graphics options, and Intel Core i3 / i5 CPU options. However the Y560 has a 15.6-inch display with up to a 500GB HDD, ATI Radeon HD5730 graphics, and Intel Core i3 / i5 / i7 CPU options.

Both notebooks will feature up to 8GB of RAM, WiFi b/g/n / optional Bluetooth support, optional 3G / WiMAX connectivity, three USB 2.0 ports, an ExpressCard slot, a card reader, and Windows 7. The IdeaPad Y460 will be available starting in February and the Y560 will be available starting in March. Both notebooks will be available for as low as $849.99 USD.
