VIA Reveals Four Android-Based Tablets That Won't Cost You More Than $150
Two days ago we heard that VIA would be launching in five upcoming Android tablets later this year and they'll all be less than $150. The bad news is that you'll definitely get what you pay for with these tablets so don't expect anything mind-blowing. The one above and directly below we've heard of before, it's the Eken M001 and the M003, respectively. Below that there's the FirstView PX707 and the G-Link A8 (also pictured below in order).

Eken Unveils the M003 APad E-Book Reader, Running Android and Costs $240
We've already heard about Eken's dirt-cheap M001 MID that's running Android and they have another one for us. Although it may look a bit like an iPad this one isn't being touted as a tablet. This "e-book reader" is being called the M003 APad and it's got an 8-inch LCD display (480 x 800 resolution), a Rockchip 2808A 600MHz CPU, 128MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, WiFi a/b/g support, an SD card slot with a 2GB card in the box, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a webcam, speakers / microphone, the Google Chrome Lite browser, and the Android (1.5) OS of course.
This e-book reader is sporting a $240 price tag so it's just under half the price of the iPad, but you get what you pay for. Check out a 5-minute video of this tablet / e-book reader in action.
