Thanks to T-Mobile's website we might know just how much the Dell Streak 7 will be going for when it actually hits the carrier. If you read the fine print on their website for the tablet it says that it will be available as a "$82.50 down payment, plus 3 monthly payments of $82.50, required." If you add that up then it comes to $330 and that could be the 2-year contract price. It's not that much for a Tegra 2 and HSPA+ tablet, but it is going to be launching with just Android 2.2 on-board which is a bit behind.

The GCF has just approved another tablet and it's the Dell Streak 7 aka the Looking Glass. This tablet should be hitting T-Mobile in a few weeks so this is pretty much hinting towards the release. It packs quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE / dual-band UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity and should also have HSPA+ connectivity for T-Mobile's "4G" network. The rumoured release date for this one right now is February 2nd.

We already know that Dell has been working on the successor to their 5-inch Dell Streak MID / tablet and Cell Phone Signal has managed to scoop up the first images of said device. This one's the Looking Glass tablet which will reportedly be called the Dell Streak 7. Specs aren't confirmed right now but on the back of the render there's T-Mobile branding so it'll definitely be headed there in the USA. Obviously, it features a 7-inch display, front and rear-facing cameras with a flash, and possibly just Android 2.2. Dell always seems to be behind in the OS version. Maybe we'll see this one get official at CES this week.
Update: Coming from Engadget is word that the Dell Streak 7 has hit the FCC. This one features UMTS bands II, IV, and V which is good enough for T-Mobile and AT&T in the US. Thankfully, this device has WiFi 802.11n / Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR support, an SD card slot, and a SIM card slot so it may actually have voice calling capabilities. Apparently, it could also have a Tegra 2 chipset inside of it! Check it out at the FCC.

WiFi Alliance
It's pretty clear that a new device from Dell is currently being tested, it has just been spotted at the WiFi Alliance. Dubbed the M02M, it's a step up from the Streak which is the M01M. This is clearly a "mobile internet device" with support for WiFi b/g/n so it could very well be a new tablet from the company. It could be a variety of things. It could be the 5-inch Streak 2 aka the Opus One or it could also be the 7 (or 10) inch Looking Glass tablet that was leaked by Engadget back in April. We'll just have to wait and see.

Dell's 7-inch Looking Glass tablet will be launching in the next few weeks according to Dell's Greater China President, Amit Midha. He also mentioned that there'll be a bunch more tablets in the works from them including a 10, 4, and even a 3-inch model - these should get announced in a few months. The 4 and 3-inch models could be Android-based phones though, which would still be pretty great. He confirmed that the 7-inch model will be running Android so this should be competing with the expensive Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Yesterday, Dell teased their 7-inch tablet, the Looking Glass, and it looks like it has just been leaked again. This time it's been caught on video (below) and it's looking pretty good so hopefully it'll actually have phone capabilities in the US, unlike Samsung's Galaxy Tab. Buttons aren't really important to me but apparently there's a volume rocker along with a headphone jack. Fast forward to 1:27 if you're looking to save your time.

Dell Looking Glass Tablet Lets Out, Packing Android 2.1 and Nvidia's Tegra 2
Dell just can't stop leaking all this information. What you see above is the Dell Looking Glass which is an awkward name for a tablet, so let's hope that's just a codename right now. This tablet is expected to pack a 7-inch touchscreen display with an 800 x 480 resolution, Nvidia's Tegra 2 graphics, supposedly 4GB of RAM, 4GB of flash storage, an SDHC card slot, a 1.3MP camera, an optional TV tuner, and Android 2.1. It's looking like a pretty good tablet, so hopefully the responsiveness is down-pat before they launch it this November.
