If you're interested in the Velocity Micro Cruz Reader and Cruz Tablet then you can now pre-order them now on Borders for $199.99 and $299.99, respectively. Unfortunately, all that's mentioned is that they'll be available on September 30th and October 15th, respectively, and that they have 7-inch (capacitive multitouch) touchscreen displays. Inside you'll find an 800MHz CPU and an unknown amount of RAM so maybe you'll want to test one out somewhere before you go ahead and buy one.

Borders and Kobo have just put up their e-book reader up for pre-orders. Sadly, this e-book reader doesn't have WiFi / 3G connectivity which are both huge let downs. Then again, it does have Bluetooth support, a 6-inch e-ink display, a d-pad, 1GB of internal storage, an SD card slot, a battery life that should last 8,000 page turns, and it's just 0.1-inches thick. The e-book reader has support for PDF files, it'll come pre-loaded with 100 classic ebooks, and will start shipping on June 17th.
