Sanyo (Kyocera) Zio Hitting Sprint With Android 2.1 and For Free On a 2-Year Contract
We know that Sprint should be getting the Sanyo (made by Kyocera) Zio in the future but the price wasn't mentioned. According to what Android and Me is hearing, this Android-based handset is actually going to hit the carrier for free on a 2-year contract, which seems like a pretty sweet deal. Furthermore, they're also hearing that Sprint will be launching the handset with version 2.1 of the OS pre-installed. It's not the highest-end Android handset out there with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display and a Qualcomm MSM7227 600MHz CPU, but I definitely think it's worth it if you're on a budget.
