eviGroup Teases 10-Inch Tablet Called the Paddle, Sports N270 CPU and Windows 7

Labels: , , ,

CeBIT just kicked off and eviGroup has just teased their latest MID / tablet. This one sports a 10.1-inch LED-backlit multitouch display, an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, a 160GB / 250GB / 320GB HDD or a 16GB / 32GB SSD, a webcam, a microphone, WiFi / 3G support, and a custom UI called Scale. The OS beneath it is Windows 7 or XP Home Edition - whichever you want - and it'll also sport an external antenna connection which can be used to extend the range of WiFi or, at a later time, be used as a DTT digital TV receiver. This tablet should be available for €699 ($952 USD) which is actually a lot more than I expected it would be. The launch is expected in Q2.

Update: Just what I asked for. There's a video on Engadget here of this tablet - called the Paddle - in action. It's showing off the custom UI, Scale, over top of Windows 7.
