Dopod (Chinese Carrier) Roadmap Leaks Out; HTC Huashan (Possibly Supersonic), Dragon, and More!!

Labels: , ,

It looks like Dopod, a Chinese carrier, is planning to launch a couple of handsets in the near future, thanks to their latest leak. The HTC Huashan leads the way with a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen display that was supposed to be running Android. HTC could have flipped the switch here since they'll likely be changing the OS so that it runs Windows Mobile. This means that it very well could be the HTC Supersonic with WinMo 7 on-board. The HTC Dragon will be an Android phone that will hit China-only and it features a 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen display. The A6388 is another handset, pictured below, that features a 3.4-inch toucshcreen display. It bears a striking resemblance to the Nexus One. The Tianshan is a handset rocking a 3.2-inch QVGA display and the Songshan is sporting a 2.8-inch QVGA display with a QWERTY keyboard. That is all.

It says right there in the screenshot "Huashan 4.3" WVGA ANDROID HSDPA" How did that make you think it was a WinMO 7 device?? It says "ANDROID" right there. Are you talking about the fact that in red it will CHANGE to WM? at end of 4Q10?

That's a slip-up on my part. But yes, I did mean that it would change - although it still has to be confirmed.
