Acer Aspire Revo Set to Release On May 18 In the UK
The Acer Aspire Revo looks like it is set for a May 18th release date, at least in the UK on Play.com. All of the above models have the Intel N230 1.6GHz Atom and will have a couple of differences. The £180 ($267 USD) model is the cheapest and has 1GB of RAM, an 8GB SSD, and will run on Linux. The £300 model, on the other hand, has 2GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD, and will run on Windows Vista Home Premium. For £50 more, you will bring in the Wii-features, like a 3D controller including 10 games. The most expensive £330 ($440 USD) model has the best features and includes everything, including a wireless mouse and keyboard. Hopefully us North Americans will receive this nettop on the same date as the UK, we all want the love too.

Dell Smartphones to Hit China By the End of the Year?
Although mobile carriers on this side of the world thought that Dell's smartphones were indifferent, that doesn't look to be the case overseas. Apparently, China Mobile has been "impressed" by Dell's efforts and they are really considering to release Dell's smartphones by the end of this year. We'll see how this turns out. I think it would be a great start for Dell if they could start in China and expand from there. As of right now, nothing has been confirmed for the future of Dell's smartphones, so we'll just have to sit here and wait.

The Legend of Spyro 3D; Spyro The Dragon Movie!!
Ahh, good ol' Spyro the Dragon. I haven't played a Spyro the Dragon game for about 8 years or so and those were the fun old days. I miss Spyro, but I always preferred Crash Bandicoot over him. Anyways, it looks like Spyro will be making its way to the big screen with a movie called The Legend of Spyro 3D. It'll probably be one of those movies where you have to put those dorky 3D glasses on, y'know, for little kids. We'll see how this turns out, but to be honest, I'm actually interested in watching it. That is, if I find a job and have money to waste.

46-Inch JVC 3D HDTV For $7,000
Yes, 3D-technology is expensive. This TV set, the JVC GD-463D10, will cost around $7,000 USD. The HDTV uses Xpol technology for it's 3D-ness and it requires you to wear those funky glasses, which I don't think is good at all. There are only 2 glasses included in the box, so that could be a bad thing if you're looking to deliver 3D to your whole family. Anyways, the HDTV has a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, 10,000:1 dynamic ratio, 3 HDMI ports, "10Wx2ch speakers and 1080/24, 50p, 60p, 50i and 60i support." The TV will first make its debut in Japan - no surprise - in the beginning of July for the aforementioned price of around $7,000 USD. The 3D HDTV is said to be released worldwide afterwards, but there are no release dates for when that will be. If you want to check it out head over to the NAB Show, which is taking place from April 18 - 23 in Las Vegas.

Apple Orders 4 Million Next-Gen iPhones?
Off to the rumour mill we go and what do we find? Why, of course, new Apple rumours!! Apparently, they have placed an order for 4 million next-gen iPhones. In these orders there are 3 different / new models: one with EDGE, one with 3G, and one for the Chinese market. The report also states that "There will not be iPhone Nano and the new iPhone 2009 will be similar to the current iPhone 3G." Although it's not exactly grammatically correct, I think that this would be a huge let-down for some people. The same design for the next iPhone? If that is true, it looks like Apple ran out of designs for their next iPhone; they're going to have to do some explaining for that. Anyways, these next-gen iPhones are expected to be released by the end of this second quarter. We'll see how accurate this speculation is.

Windows 7 Leak Again; Build 7106
It wasn't that long ago when we first heard that Build 7077 of Windows 7 was leaked onto torrents. The latest leak is from Build 7106 of Windows 7. Unfortunately, it's only in Simplified Chinese, but the English versions should be making their own leak shortly. So much for the Windows 7 RC being a 7100 build. It looks like it will be at least a 7200+ Build, but that's just my best guesses. We'll see, but I don't think the RC will be under 7150. Microsoft is really pushing their numbers here.
