Dell Adamo XPS Expected To Ship On December 22nd At the Earliest, Available Now For $1,799
Although it was supposed to available alongside the Windows 7 launch (October 22nd), clearly that didn't happen. The latest news states that the earliest shipping orders will hit your doorstep is December 22nd, which is just three days before Christmas. I guess it's a small delay to pay when you're dealing with the thinnest notebook in the world (9.99mm thin).
Update: According to Engadget, the Dell Adamo XPS notebook is now available for sale with a base price of $1,799 USD. This notebook has: a 13.4-inch WLED display, an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 1.4GHz ULV CPU, a 128GB SSD, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 2MP webcam, WiFi, and a couple of USB 2.0 ports. Check out Dell's website here.
