T-Mobile UK looks like they have just launched the Android-based Pulse handset. This is actually the Huawei U8220 and it's available for £176.16 ($292 USD) pre-paid. It shouldn't be classified as a low-end handset though, taking into account its 3.5-inch touchscreen HVGA display, WiFi / GPS / Bluetooth support, 3.2MP camera, 256MB of flash storage, 2GB microSD card in the box, and HSDPA / HSUPA connectivity. Check it out on T-Mobile UK's website here.
Don't forget that you can also get this handset on contract if you'd like. It's free if you pay at least £30 ($50 USD).
