Samsung has just made another announcement, it's the Samsung X3 notebook that will come in 15.6-inch and 11.6-inch models. Samsung kept their mouth shut about
all of the details about these new notebooks, but they did reveal some information. This new notebook has: an unspecified Intel Dual-Core CPU, a 3-in-1 card reader, HSPA wireless connectivity, three USB 2.0 ports, a VGA / HDMI port, and a 6-cell battery long enough to last 9 hours / 6 hours while playing video. The notebook will have a matte body and will come in pearl white, titanium silver, and pearl black. According to Samsung, these notebooks will be in between the €699 ($997 USD) and €899 ($1,282 USD) price range.
There's a security feature that takes a photo each time it starts up. If the picture is not the rightful owner, the computer will be disabled. The software also allows stolen computers to be locked down or data erased remotely.
