Rogers Wireless Launching 21Mbps HSPA+ Network in Canada, First in North America

Labels: , , , ,

Starting this August, Rogers Wireless will be launching its new 21Mbps HSPA+ network. This launch will start in the GTA area (me!) and it will spread like a disease to the rest of the country in a couple of months. I'm certainly excited for this, so maybe I'll wait out until this roll-out starts before I sign up for a 2-year contract elsewhere. By the way, this new network will be almost 3x as fast as the current 7.2Mbps network. It's also going to be a first in North America, unless someone surprises us.
