Google News Timeline is one of the 2 features that Google launched yesterday in Google Labs. It is "a web application that organizes information chronologically. Google News Timeline allows users to view news, scanned newspapers and magazines, blog posts, sports scores, and more on a zoomable, graphical timeline." Go try it out because I can't really explain it much more than Google does.

Google Similar Images is the second feature that Google launched yesterday in Google Labs. It basically does exactly what it sounds like. "Similar Images allows you to search for images using pictures rather than words. Click on the Similar images link under an image to find other images that look like it."
